Silicon Nitride on SOI platform

AMF has been one of the first company to develop and make available a Silicon Photonics SiN platform that can be easily integrated onto Silicon-On-Insulator (SOI) wafers. This platform enables ultra-low loss waveguides that can be stacked for multilevel 3D integration.

To ensure your products can benefit from this technology, our engineers developed high performance variants to cover wavelengths from visible to Mid-Infrared making it suitable for a wide range of applications. SiN waveguides can also be integrated at various levels of your design to suite your needs.

These SiN solutions are available for prototyping, volume production and also through our MPW shuttles available on a regular basis to support short Time-to-Market.
